Building on the success of the popular Lighthawk LED, this second generation sees an increase in light output - 225 lumens and a new maximum burn time of 16 hours. The electronics have been completely redesigned, offering additional features selectable via a multi-function switch.
The Lighthawk now has a higher light output, increased peak beam intensity and longer burn times. Like the original, the new Lighthawk is extremely lightweight and waterproof (it even floats). The multi-function switch allows the user to select between high or low mode - 225 lumens or 100 lumens respectively - as well as choosing between flashing or steady-on rear signalling lights. Burn time is determined by the mode selected and is either 8 or 16 hours.
The Lighthawk remains highly appropriate for in-vehicle use as its docking station style charging base can be mounted to a vehicle in any position. The torch will trickle charge while in transit from a 12 or 24VDC power source.
The multi-function switch can be either pushed forward or backwards determining the mode for the main beam or the rear signalling lights respectively.
First Push Forward - High Mode (225 lumen for 8 hours)
Second Push Forward - Low Mode (100 lumens for 16 hours)
Third Push Forward - Off
First Push Backwards - Flashing red and white LEDs
Second Push Backwards - Steady-on red and white LEDs
Third Push Backwards - Off
